Emergency Power Portable Batteries
for Charging Camcorders, Cell Phones, Laptops, Lighting

Lugging around a 12 volt automotive or marine battery is doable, but is does not quite meet the definition of "portable" from our way of thinking.

Sun Xtender makes four small 12 volt AGM solar batteries that weigh 40 pounds or less and which, when properly packed (in something like a Pelican Case) and properly marked, are suitable for any form of transportation including air.

  • PVX-340T - 34 Amp Hours - 7.71 x 5.18 x 6.89 inches LWH - 25 pounds

  • PVX-420T - 42 Amp Hours - 7.71 x 5.18 x 8.05 inches LWH - 30 pounds

  • PVX-490T - 49 Amp Hours - 8.99 x 5.45 x 8.82 inches LWH - 36 pounds

  • PVX-560T - 56 Amp Hours - 8.99 x 5.45 x 8.82 inches LWH - 40 pounds

The smallest PVX-340T with a 62 watt flexible solar panel can provide enough power to recharge a typical laptop battery a couple of times per day.

Using Phocos 1 watt LED lights they can be used to power an emergency lighting system you can carry in a portable case.

The possibilities are endless.
