Lithium Medical Cart Batteries
Valence U-Charge
® 12 Volt & 24 Volt

Valence Lithium Iron Magnesium Phosphate batteries provide twice the available energy and run-time at approximately half the weight of a similarly sized lead-acid battery.

U-Charge® RT offers a simple ‘plug-and-play’
replacement for typical lead-acid battery applications.  A battery management system is NOT required.  These have high energy storage capacity, high discharge power, are fast charging with a long cycle life, and are stable when exposed to high temperature environments.  Users have experienced excellent float and cycle life resulting in very low operating costs and high return on investment.

Thousands of U-Charge® RT modules are currently in service within medical carts and numerous industrial products.

U-Charge® RT

  • Built-in automatic protection for over-charge, over-discharge and over-temperature conditions
  • A battery management system is not required
  • Series connection up to four (4) 12 volt batteries or two (2) 24 volt batteries to make a 48 volt string
  • Intra-battery balancing
  • LED battery status indicator
  • Maintenance-free
  • Flame retardant plastics
  • Thousands of cycles, under normal conditions
  • Can be charged using most standard lead-acid chargers
  • Five year warranty
  • Optional accessory: U-BDI – a wired, remote U-Charge® Battery Discharge Indicator displaying a 10 segment State-of-Charge (SOC) LED indication bar and battery
status indicators. The U-BDI also monitors and controls battery-to-battery balance within a battery string.

Note: The U1-12RT 40 Ah and U1-24RT 20 Ah are available from stock.
