The new SunDanzer® 50 liter
DC refrigerator or freezer is the smallest SunDanzer ever,
measuring only 26.5 x 23 x 30.5 inches (673
x 584 x 775 mm).
This ultra efficient unit has
exceptionally low energy consumption requiring smaller, less
expensive power systems and low operating expense. The
refrigerator version can operate on less than 45 watts of
solar power in most climates.
 The
Model 50L features the same high quality construction,
excellent reliability and long life as SunDanzer's larger
solar
refrigerators and freezers. Super-insulated
cabinets feature 4.3 inches (11
cm) of polyurethane insulation with
powdered-coated galvanized steel exterior and aluminum
interior. A zero maintenance, brushless, thermostatically
controlled DC compressor operates on 12 or 24 VDC. This
chest-style refrigerator or freezer is easy to clean using
the drain hole at the bottom of the unit.
