Vending Carts Solar Mobile Carts
for Hot or Cold Foods & Beverages

We are announcing a new idea, our solar powered vending carts which are ideal for either hot or cold foods and drinks.

Our vending carts are built from heavy duty three-quarter inch plywood with large diameter wheels and a solid steel axle, a sturdy metal fabricated handle, hinged lid, fold down exterior serving shelf, and an upright stand which supports a solar panel array with sun angle tilt adjustment to align the panels to the optimum sun angle.

No ice! Save money and space for more product to sell.

The heart of the unit is a Koolatron™ P75 36 quart (34 liters) 12 volt DC refrigerator, which can also be a heater when the polarity of the power connection is reversed.

The Koolatron P75 cools 45 to 50 Fahrenheit degrees below the ambient temperature.  The unit has an internal shelf that slides on a ledge. The unit has an long life brushless motor and internal air circulation for even temperature distribution.

The same unit in the heating mode will heat to approximately 135 degrees Fahrenheit.

Specifications of the Koolatron P75:

The Koolatron is mounted inside the heavily insulated plywood cart box to protect the unit from high ambient outside temperatures and maximize cooling or heating performance.

The plywood cart box also includes an exterior fold down serving shelf and interior storage space for supplies, vending materials and solar components other than the solar panels.

The solar array is 120 watts of mono-crystalline silicon with a 25 year performance guarantee.  The system includes a top quality charge controller with low voltage disconnect and overcharge shunting.  The power circuit is fused and an on-off switch disconnects the panels from the battery.

Options include:

• A 12 volt 130 amp-hour heavy duty deep draw lead acid battery with sealed cells.

• If you wish, you can purchase your own battery locally to save on shipping costs.

• A 12 volt compact fluorescent light mounted inside the cart box lid

• A 12 volt fan to keep the flies and bugs away, or to cool the vendor

• A 115VAC or 230 VAC 50 or 60 Hz plug in to the grid charger for the Koolatron

• Other options will become available - something you think you need?  Ask us.

• Custom units will also be available - larger carts can incorporate SunDanzer solar refrigerators and freezers so you can vend frozen goods like ice cream!

• We will soon also offer solar powered stationary vending stands, or would be pleased to provide the components to solarize your vending trailer or permanently located vending stand

During the middle part of the day, the solar panels can also serve as a shade awning for the vendor.

The entire unit comes disassembled inside the plywood cart box.  Assembly time is about 1 hour, with all the wiring connections ready to hook up and threaded fastener assembly using T-nuts and bolts.
